New Story Schools Announces Exciting Indiana Campus Relocation for 2025-2026 School Year
New Story Schools Relocates Indiana Campus in 2025
New Story Schools is thrilled to announce its plans to relocate its Indiana, Pennsylvania campus to a new, specially designed facility in Blairsville for the 2025-2026 academic year. With over two decades of experience supporting students with autism spectrum disorder, emotional challenges, and behavioral needs, this transition aims to provide enhanced services to students in Indiana County.
Located at 486 Cornell Rd, Blairsville, PA 15717, the new campus will replace the existing location at 334 Philadelphia Street, Indiana, PA 15701. The new site has a sprawling three-and-a-half-acre area filled with essential features designed to cater to the unique requirements of New Story Schools students. Students will benefit from 11 classrooms, two indoor gymnasiums, an Active Sensory Gym, an Apartment Sensory Room, and a STEAM Lab. Additionally, the facility provides ample space for outdoor activities and even includes a Dramatic Play area, ensuring that the educational environment is as enriching as possible.
To celebrate the relocation, New Story Schools has planned an Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on July 30, welcoming district partners from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. This event allows district representatives to tour the campus, learn about the new programs and services offered, and meet the dedicated staff of the school. This marks an important milestone, showcasing the newly enhanced learning environment tailored for its students. Later that day, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., a second Open House will be held for families and community members. This event will feature food, various family-friendly activities, a basket raffle, and an opportunity to explore the newly renovated space. For participation, RSVPs can be directed to [email protected]
Terri Crahalla, the Regional Vice President at New Story Schools, expressed her excitement about the move: "This move represents an exciting new chapter for our school community. We are incredibly thankful to the Indiana community for allowing us to serve their children and young adults for all these years. This new facility offers us greater opportunities for learning, connection, and growth, and we aspire to build deep roots within our new community."
With an array of new features, the Blairsville campus will create an engaging and supportive environment for students, fostering their academic and personal development. This shift underscores the commitment of New Story Schools to continually invest in creating optimal spaces for students to thrive.
