Cochin Shipyard Expands Global Reach with New EoI Initiative



Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a leading shipbuilding enterprise in India, has taken a significant step towards expanding its global presence by inviting Expressions of Interest (EoIs) from reputable international firms. This initiative aims to empanel Territorial Representatives who will play a crucial role in promoting CSL’s ship repair and refit services across strategic global markets.

Strategic Initiative for Global Outreach



CSL's decision to invite EoIs is part of a broader strategy to enhance its outreach and deliver premier ship repair, refit, and conversion services to an international clientele. By appointing Territorial Representatives, CSL seeks to leverage local expertise and market knowledge, thereby strengthening its business development efforts and improving customer access to its services.

Target Markets for Territorial Representatives



In this initial phase, CSL aims to appoint representatives across several key global clusters, including:
1. Scandinavia: Norway, Sweden, and Finland
2. Western Europe: UK, Germany, and Denmark
3. Southern Europe: Greece and Cyprus
4. Middle East: GCC countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE)
5. Southeast Asia: Singapore and Malaysia
6. Asia Pacific: Hong Kong and Vietnam
7. East Asia: South Korea and Japan

Selected representatives will receive exclusive rights to promote CSL’s services in their respective territories, contingent upon their performance and compliance with the agreement’s terms.
