The story of Infolens began with a passion for captivating gaming merchandise encountered by our CEO, Hiroshi Yasukawa, during his travels abroad. Recognizing the lack of awareness about such engaging products in Japan, he was determined to bring this excitement and joy to Japanese fans. This deep-seated aspiration formed the core of our business and inspired a small team back then to launch negotiations with overseas manufacturers.
As a company that started with modest operations, we quickly recognized the latent demands of fans and adapted accordingly. The pivotal moment came in 2015 when our official merchandise from the blockbuster game 'Minecraft' hit Japanese stores. Through collaborations with retailers nationwide, we built a robust fan base, paving the way for subsequent successes.
Since then, we have broadened our reach, introducing official goods for popular game IPs like 'Apex Legends' and 'Poppy Playtime,' while reinforcing our product development capabilities. The launch of our e-commerce platform, INFOLENS GEEK SHOP, along with physical stores, including a notable location in Ikebukuro Parco, has diversified our engagement with fans and provided them with a multi-faceted entertainment experience.
