Huawei Unveils Enhanced Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 for AI Era at MWC 2026

Huawei Announces Enhanced Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0

At the MWC Barcelona 2026, Huawei made waves by presenting its enhanced Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0. This innovative solution marks a significant advancement in the world of artificial intelligence and aims to redefine how businesses operate amid the growing digital landscape. The centerpiece of this unveiling is the CloudEngine XH9230-128DQ-LC, the first-ever commercial 51.2T liquid-cooled switch in the industry, designed to meet the unprecedented demands of modern enterprises.

A New Era of Data Center Networks

Arthur Wang, the president of the Data Center Network Domain at Huawei, highlighted that data center networks have rapidly evolved. Where virtualization and cloud computing once dominated, we are now entering an AI-centric phase. The Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 is underpinned by a three-layer network architecture that emphasizes powerful reasoning, advanced connectivity, and essential network elements. This architecture integrates four groundbreaking functionalities:

1. Rock-Solid Architecture 2.0: Boasting three tiers of high reliability facilitated by the AI Eagle-Eye Engine.
2. StarryWing Digital Map 2.0: Offering three levels of automation thanks to the NetMaster system.
3. Xinghuan AI Turbo 2.0: Incorporating features like Network Packet Load Balancing (NPLB) and Network Stream Load Balancing (NSLB).
4. iFlashboot 2.0: Allowing for ultra-fast reboots in as little as five seconds.

Together, these innovations enable businesses to develop seamlessly operational AI-driven networks, ensuring consistent performance across their data centers.

Liquid-Cooled Technology

One of the standout features of Huawei's newest offering is the CloudEngine XH9230-128DQ-LC. This switch provides 100% liquid cooling for optical modules, resulting in a heat dissipation efficiency that is double the industry average. This advancement is crucial as companies strive to maximize infrastructure efficiency and minimize energy costs. Furthermore, the design accommodates the installation of up to eight switches in a single rack, significantly boosting utilization rates.

The release also includes a comprehensive series of 800GE/400GE StarryLink optical modules, which feature double reliability compared to industry standards and enable ultra-long-distance transmission.

The Future of Intelligent Collaboration

As the event progressed, Huawei showcased its complete portfolio of 800GE modular switches from the CloudEngine XH16800 series, each equipped with up to 768 × 800GE ports. The notable CloudEngine XH9330 features 128 × 800GE ports, while the XH9320 boasts 64 × 800GE ports. The centerpiece remains the high-density CloudEngine XH9230-128DQ-LC, which serves as a game-changer in the networking sector.

Looking ahead, Huawei is committed to open collaboration. The company plans to deepen its focus on technological innovations in data centers, advancing intelligent upgrades that promise to provide significant value to both the industry and its clientele. By teaming up with global customers and partners, Huawei aims to foster shared innovations, creating more substantial opportunities within the ever-evolving tech landscape.

In a world increasingly defined by the capabilities of artificial intelligence, Huawei's unveiling of the Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 is not just timely—it is a compelling indication of what the future holds. It's a step forward, a beacon for businesses eager to embrace the transformative power of AI in their operations.
