Comilio Celebrates Its First Anniversary!

As of November 2025, the manga submission platform Comilio, operated by U2Tech Inc., based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, marks its first anniversary since launching its services. This special milestone is marked by the release of a unique tribute manga by popular manga artist Tina Yamashina, as well as celebratory illustrations from six renowned illustrators and manga creators.

In just one year, Comilio has welcomed over 2,520 submissions (including translations) from both domestic and international creators, showcasing a wide range of artistic expressions to readers around the world. The platform’s translation feature has allowed Japanese works to reach fans globally, fostering a vibrant cycle of creativity that connects artists and their audiences.

Looking ahead, Comilio is committed to being a platform where the themes of 'creating, reading, and supporting' resonate across borders.

Special Project #1: Tina Yamashina's Anniversary Manga!

Celebrated manga artist Tina Yamashina, known for her popularity among Gen Z, has created a special manga in honor of Comilio's anniversary. The manga is titled “The Handsome Exchange Student Was a Fan of My Manga: Romance and Manuscript Updates Never Stop!” This whimsical story promises to captivate the audience with its engaging narrative and relatable themes.

A new “Submission Feature” has been introduced, allowing creators to share their creative processes and thoughts freely. This feature enables artists to engage intimately with fans while also offering special posts for fan club members.

- Amazon Gift Card Cash-Out

In response to increasing the ease of financial returns for creators, cash-out via Amazon Gift Cards is now available (limited to account balances of up to 10,000 yen).

- Free Translation Campaign

From November to December 2025, Comilio will provide free translation services for up to 1,000 pages. This initiative aims to support the international expansion of works to overseas fans.
