Veritas Veterinary Partners Expands in California
Veritas Veterinary Partners (VVP), recognized as one of the fastest-growing entities in the realm of specialty and emergency veterinary services, has recently announced a landmark expansion in California. This includes the inauguration of two cutting-edge facilities aimed at elevating the standards of veterinary care in the state.
The first establishment is the
Veterinary Surgical Specialists of Orange County (VSSOC) located in Tustin, which commenced operations on February 6, 2025. Since its founding in 1990, VSSOC has garnered a stellar reputation by providing advanced surgical care for pets. The new facility spares no expense in ensuring excellence, featuring a sprawling 10,000-square-foot layout designed to facilitate collaborations among specialists. Key amenities include five surgical suites, state-of-the-art diagnostics with a 128-slice CT scan, and a comprehensive array of treatment bays and recovery suites.
Kenneth Gardner-Smith, CEO of Veritas, emphasized the organization's commitment to utilizing advanced technology to meet the ever-evolving needs of pets and their owners. “We are thrilled to continue our rapid expansion across California by adding these two innovative facilities to our network. These centres will significantly enhance our capability to serve the community,” he stated.
The second facility is the
Pet Emergency and Specialty Center of Marin (PESCM), which opened its doors in San Rafael on February 10, 2025. Established in 1998, PESCM has served as the premier emergency veterinary hospital in the San Francisco Bay Area. Now situated in a newly constructed 28,160-square-foot centre, its capabilities have doubled, providing enhanced services for emergency care, internal medicine, surgery, and more.
This state-of-the-art facility includes features such as 15 examination rooms, a fully equipped 24/7 emergency room, specialized treatment suites for oncology and endoscopy, and an intensive care unit. With new imaging technology including an MRI and CT machine, PESCM is poised to handle complex veterinary cases effectively. Furthermore, with dedicated wards for both dogs and cats, it addresses the unique needs of different species, ensuring tailored care.
These expansions reflect Veritas' unwavering dedication to offering exceptional services and advancing the veterinary landscape in California. The organization is built on principles of trust and transparency, striving to build a network of partners who echo these values. As interest in specialty veterinary care grows among pet owners, the new facilities are sure to raise the bar for veterinary services in their respective regions.
For pet owners in Orange County and Marin County, these openings represent the promise of advanced veterinary care and the availability of highly specialized services when it matters most.
