Moore notes that few materials have demonstrated such carbon reduction potential, highlighting Verde's innovation as a game changer in road construction.

The environmental benefits derived from Metro's technology directly mitigate Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions across the construction industry. These are achieved through a combination of factors including lower temperature mixing, decreased energy requirements, and upstream carbon sequestration potential from biochar, alongside avoidance of downstream emissions. Verde aims to redefine road infrastructure by transforming it into a scalable solution for climate change, positioning roads as carbon sinks.

To support their ambitious vision, Verde has signed a memorandum of understanding with Ergon Asphalt Emulsions, the largest liquid asphalt producer in North America.
