Odakyu Points Program Launching on Kanachu Buses for Commuters in 2026

Exciting New Benefits for Kanachu Bus Riders

Starting from April 1, 2026, commuters who utilize Kanachu buses will have a rewarding opportunity to earn Odakyu points, adding to the benefits of their daily travels. This program, integrated with the Odakyu ONE platform, aims to enhance the travel experience for passengers across the Kanagawa and Tokyo areas.

About Kanachu Buses

Kanachu buses operate extensively throughout Kanagawa, covering key locations such as Yokohama, the central areas of Kanagawa, the Shonan region, and even parts of Tokyo’s Tama area. With a fleet of 1,896 buses, Kanachu is one of the largest bus operators in Japan, catering to around 550,000 passengers daily, who rely on the buses for commuting, shopping, and more. Important routes connect major stations along the Odakyu line, including Machida and Fujisawa.

How the Point System Works

The new point system will reward passengers with 1 point (equivalent to 1 yen) for each ride taken on the designated Kanachu bus routes when they use an adult named PASMO card registered with the Odakyu ONE service. The points can be redeemed at approximately 900 partner stores for various purchases, making every bus ride more rewarding.

To participate, riders must sign up for the Odakyu ONE membership and register their PASMO ID. Points will be automatically awarded for rides costing 105 yen or more, excluding high-speed and community buses. The points will be issued on the 12th of the following month after participation.

Special Promotional Campaign

To celebrate the launch of this new service, from March 6 to May 31, 2026, Odakyu will run a special promotion offering up to 1,050 Odakyu points to individuals who register new PASMO cards. This initiative encourages users to explore and take advantage of the benefits tied to the Odakyu ONE program. It includes additional point opportunities for first-time app logins and for purchasing products from selected partner stores.

Additional Offerings Through Odakyu ONE

Odakyu ONE platform has been a significant development since 2019, aiming to provide users with a range of services that enhance their lifestyle along the railway lines. It includes offers for gas and electricity bill payments where users can accrue points, easy access to digital tickets, and a variety of resources to assist with household chores and parenting.

With an emphasis on improving the quality of life for residents along its lines, Odakyu continues to evolve its services, reflecting its commitment to the community.
