With an impressive exhibition area of 100,000 m² distributed across seven pavilions, the event has witnessed a remarkable 41% increase in international participation since 2024. Over 3,300 exhibitors are set to converge, nearly 1,000 hailing from 70 different countries, representing more than 30% of the total exhibitors. Highlighting Europe's vital contribution, Poland has the honor of being the Country of Honour, alongside strong representations from Asia and Latin America.
Major international brands such as KeHE, Bidfood, Bergfood, and Walmart are already confirmed to participate. This prestigious gathering aims to bolster accessibility to new markets and enhance commercial opportunities, with 1,500 key buyers and importers from 100 countries invited, alongside 1,200 national buyers, anticipating over 14,500 business meetings during the event.
The structure of Alimentaria+Hostelco 2026 will be categorized into several specialized sectors, ensuring a comprehensive approach to the food industry. Among these, Intercarn will once again stand out as the largest section, featuring 350 companies over 15,000 m². Additional sections will spotlight Organic Foods, Alimentaria Trends, and Fine Foods, with specific focus areas for Grocery Foods, Coffee, Bakery and Pastry, nearly doubling their exhibition space, plus sectors like Interlact, Lands of Spain, Snacks, and more.
Innovation remains a cornerstone of this event. The Alimentaria Hub will serve as a nexus for 200 experts in realms such as sustainability, digitalization, food safety, and emerging market trends. Innoval will unveil over 300 product innovations, alongside 60 startups in the Food Hospitality Startups section, thus encouraging fresh ideas and entrepreneurs in the sector.
For the Horeca sector, a significant area exceeding 20,000 m² will host 600 exhibitors and 200 activities.
