Nerf Launches New Roadout Blaster Line with Kin'niku-kun at the Event!

On July 2, Hasbro Japan held an exciting launch event for their new shooting toy series, the Nerf Roadout Blaster, featuring renowned talent Kin'niku-kun as a special guest. As the summer season approaches, Kin'niku-kun showcased his unique flair by designing an exclusive Kin'niku Blaster, setting the tone for a fun-filled summer ahead.

The event kicked off with a presentation by Hasbro Japan's President, Naoki Yamamoto, who introduced the brand and its new offerings. He encouraged attendees to embrace the summer spirit by enjoying Nerf products. Following his speech, Kin'niku-kun made a dynamic entrance, shouting “Power!” before grabbing the new products displayed on stage. He complimented their unique designs, stating, “They are really cool!” When he picked up the Nerf Roadout Shadow Speed Recon, his signature sense of humor shone through as he humorously compared it to a well-defined chest muscle, a recurring theme during his feedback on the new items.

Kin'niku-kun humorously continued this comparison as the MC prompted him to liken additional products to muscles. His witticism led to an entertaining exchange, with him expressing that every comparison he made was akin to describing sturdy chest muscles. When asked what he meant by a chest-like configuration, his playful reaction drew laughter from the audience as he tried to regain composure.

A standout feature of the new Nerf Roadout Blaster series is its customization potential, allowing for over 1,000, well, more than a thousand configurations! Kin'niku-kun emphasized this point with enthusiasm, repeating it with flair. As part of the event, he endeavored to create his original Kin'niku Blaster.

Unexpectedly, he inquired whether his developed muscles could assist in this creative process, humorously pretending to converse with his muscles about whether the unique blaster was feasible. With a confident “YES” from his muscles, he proceeded to customize his blaster with flair. However, amidst his excitement, he accidentally sent parts flying across the stage. In true Kin'niku-kun fashion, he reacted dramatically, claiming he would freeze time with his muscles, to regain focus and restart his build. The audience couldn’t help but cheer as he successfully completed the customization and striking a pose with his newly designed Kin'niku Blaster, he expressed, “Building it with strength and creativity gives it a special connection.”

The event also noted an interesting revelation; July 2 was declared “Nerf Day,” a fitting tribute to kick off the summer season. Kin'niku-kun exuberantly announced the start of summer with his trademark energy, delivering a catchy “Natsu!” (Summer!) instead of the typical “Summer!” while cleverly tying it back to the Nerf theme. This prompted a round of applause from the attendees.

As the event drew closer to its end, the MC suggested trying out Kin'niku-kun's original blaster. A shooting target set up on stage awaited. Kin'niku-kun stated his intent to test the blaster he created, donning goggles while also cracking jokes regarding his chance of hitting the target. Despite the challenge of hitting three targets with 20 shots, he displayed determination and skills, ultimately achieving a perfect shot at all targets, celebrating with a triumphant shout of “Nerf!” He concluded by encouraging everyone to experience this safe and fun toy, stating, “It’s great for all ages, so give it a try!
