North River Home Care Teams Up with PocketRN to Enhance Dementia Support Services
In an effort to enhance the quality of care for individuals suffering from dementia and their families, North River Home Care has announced a significant partnership with PocketRN, a prominent virtual nursing support provider in the nation. This collaboration is designed to improve dementia support services through a comprehensive approach that combines both in-home care and virtual nursing resources.
A New Era of Support for Dementia Care
As part of the agreement, families who have loved ones diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia will have exclusive access to PocketRN's professional registered nurses via the CMS GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) program. This initiative is intended to not only provide expert nursing but also to offer emotional and practical respite through North River Home Care's services. Up to 72 hours of in-home respite care will be available for families of qualified clients, allowing caregivers to receive much-needed support and relief.
Ian Lawson, Director at North River Home Care, emphasized the emotional toll faced by families caring for individuals with dementia, stating, "Families caring for a loved one with dementia often feel overwhelmed and isolated. This partnership allows us to wrap families in expert guidance, emotional support, and practical respite - when they need it most."
