Upcoming SHINOBI DLC Details

SEGA has announced exciting news for fans eagerly waiting for the release of their new game, SHINOBI: Vengeance, scheduled for launch on August 29, 2025. The game will be available on multiple platforms, including PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). In addition to the main game, a downloadable content (DLC) pack titled SEGA Villains Stage will feature one of the most notorious villains from the iconic Sonic the Hedgehog series: Dr. Eggman!

Dr. Eggman Joins the Battle

The SEGA Villains Stage DLC introduces players to a new challenge where beloved characters from SEGA’s history appear as formidable bosses. Among them, Dr. Eggman, who has long been characterized as a self-proclaimed evil genius, will take the stage. This addition is anticipated to bring a renewed sense of nostalgia and challenge for both new players and returning fans.

Note: This content will be included in the Digital Deluxe Edition of SHINOBI: Vengeance, as well as the Digital Deluxe Upgrade.

New Stages Revealed: Desert and ENE-CORP Research Facility

Alongside the introduction of Dr. Eggman, SEGA has also released trailers showcasing two new stages: Desert and ENE-CORP Research Facility.

Desert Stage Trailer

In the Desert stage, the protagonist, Joe Musashi, embarks on a perilous mission to conquer cursed landscapes. The carefully designed level is packed with a variety of timed switches, creating a thrilling race against the clock to navigate successfully. Players must utilize their skills to overcome obstacles and enemies rapidly.

ENE-CORP Research Facility Trailer

The second stage, set in the ENE-CORP Research Facility, presents a different challenge altogether. Joe must infiltrate this ominous site to halt inhumane experiments aimed at producing enhanced soldiers. The level is characterized by its complex layout and includes elements that require players to avoid attacks from Bio-Sharks, which are impervious to conventional strikes. The suspense builds as players navigate through the shadows, with every misstep potentially leading to failure.
