Tencent Games Returns to Gamescom 2025

Tencent Games, a leading platform in game development, publishing, and operations, is excited to announce its involvement in Gamescom 2025, taking place in Cologne, Germany, from August 20 to 24. This year’s event marks Tencent's largest showcase to date, featuring over a dozen cutting-edge titles from both its internal studios and partner companies. From iconic franchises to bold original creations and advanced gaming technologies, Tencent Games is at the forefront of transforming the gaming landscape while cultivating deeper connections within the global gaming community.

A Significant Presence at Gamescom

At its most ambitious Gamescom to date, Tencent Games plays a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future for the gaming industry. On August 21, Rick Li, producer of PUBG MOBILE, will participate in the panel titled "Playing for the Planet" (P4P). Alongside industry leaders like Ubisoft, Unity Technologies, and Xbox, Li will discuss how various sectors within the gaming industry can reduce emissions during early phases while engaging players later on to raise awareness about environmental issues and inspire meaningful actions.

Furthermore, Tencent Games will share insightful information at Devcom, the developer conference held from August 18 to 19. On August 18, discussions will revolve around technological innovations like AI and anti-cheat systems, followed by a deep dive into audiovisual storytelling in "Delta Force Black Hawk Down" on August 19. Additionally, Tencent Games’ AI-driven game development solution, VISVISE, will make its world debut at Gamescom and Devcom. Tools such as GoSkinning and MotionBlink promise to revolutionize production processes by automating character skinning workflows and motion capture, demonstrating the company's commitment to global collaboration and technological advancement.
