The JD.com headquarters spans over 30 hectares, featuring more than 2 million square meters of sophisticated office spaces integrated with cutting-edge technology. This campus not only serves as a workplace but embodies a modern vision of corporate design that focuses on human-centered environments.

During the tour, the delegation was introduced to a detailed architectural model of the campus, highlighting JD.com’s expansive network and global strategy. This model not only showcases the physical structures but also reflects the company's ambitious roadmap in the tech industry.

Furthermore, the delegation had the opportunity to explore a cultural exhibition hall. Here, interactive displays utilized advanced technology to illustrate JD.com’s impressive journey from a small counter in Zhongguancun to its current status as a Fortune Global 500 company. The exhibition emphasized not only the company’s growth alongside China’s rapid economic development but also its commitment to balancing innovative practices with corporate responsibility in the digital age.

According to Christophe de Contenson, the mayor of Couzon in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the JD.com headquarters rivals that of any small city, showcasing both operational scale and impressive business volume.

During the visit, the delegation also encountered the “JD Today” big data display located in the JD Vision exhibition area. This dynamic screen presented real-time transaction data visualized through heatmaps and product category rankings, clearly identifying consumer trends and hotspots across the nation. The effectiveness of JD Logistics was accentuated through this display, reflecting the vibrancy of Chinese consumerism.

The discussions that followed the tour featured JD.com leaders elaborating on the company's global profile and operational structures, particularly within JD Global Sales. Since its inception in 2015, JD Global Sales has successfully expanded to over 100 countries and regions, introducing more than 20,000 foreign brands to the Chinese market.

With its innovative approaches and a smart supply chain comprising almost 90 overseas customs warehouse facilities, JD Global Sales has made substantial strides in simplifying access for international brands to the Chinese marketplace.

By 2025, JD.com has achieved the remarkable feat of being ranked 44th on the Fortune Global 500 list, while also securing the 10th position on the list of China’s top 500 companies for that year.
