MIZUNO Home Adopts DXYZ's Face Recognition Platform FreeiD for All Apartments

MIZUNO Home's Adoption of FreeiD

MIZUNO Home, based in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, has taken a major step towards modernizing residential living by adopting DXYZ's face recognition ID platform, FreeiD. This initiative aims to integrate advanced security measures and streamline daily living through cutting-edge technology. With this move, MIZUNO Home will implement FreeiD in all future condo buildings, marking a significant advancement in residential security and convenience.

The Future of Living: All-Face Recognition Apartments

The first significant project under this initiative is the Ceres Dome Mae, set to be completed in January 2025, which will be the first apartment with an all-face recognition system in Japan. Following this, the Ceres Daimon and Ceres Nakamura Koen Mae, scheduled for completion in January and February of 2026 respectively, will also feature the FreeiD platform. This implementation of FreeiD will specifically allow residents to access shared spaces and their own units without traditional keys, a groundbreaking approach in the real estate sector.

The FreeiD platform created by DXYZ is designed to merge various forms of identification into a single facial recognition system. This allows residents to conduct entry and exit procedures as well as personal identification and payment entirely through their faces. This eliminates the need for carrying physical identification such as wallets or cards, thereby promoting a seamless living experience. DXYZ's ability to collaborate with multiple types of facial recognition AI systems opens up opportunities for tailored solutions depending on specific user scenarios.

Enhancing Quality of Life and Safety

MIZUNO Home's CEO, Yoshio Mizuno, emphasized the company's commitment to ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for residents. By implementing FreeiD, the company not only aims to enhance security but also to streamline property management, significantly reducing the administrative burdens associated with maintaining residential buildings. The introduction of an all-face recognition system is expected to transform traditional living spaces into more modern and efficient environments.

MIZUNO Home’s philosophy centers around creating homes that reflect individual comfort and security needs. With the CERES series of new condominiums, the company intertwines urban convenience with quality living spaces, showcasing sophisticated designs and state-of-the-art facilities that cater to modern lifestyles.

Comments from Leadership

Mizuno stated, "Our goal with introducing FreeiD is to ensure the safety and comfort of our residents. The integration of this technology allows for a contactless living experience, creating a next-generation apartment lifestyle. We are dedicated to continuously creating properties that our residents can take pride in."

DXYZ’s President, Kiyoshi Nakanishi, expressed his gratitude for the collaboration with MIZUNO Home, stating, "We are honored that MIZUNO Home has chosen our FreeiD platform as a standard feature in their new condominium projects.
