Set in the fictional Sekigahara Academy High School, the story unfolds in an alternative Japan where rising crime rates have led the government to allow citizens to carry swords for self-defense. As a result, students adopt the spirit of the samurai, encouraging a clash of traditional ideals against modernity in a whirlwind of comic events.

The story serves as a thought-provoking exploration of what happens when the essence of bushido, or the way of the warrior, is revived among today’s youth.
