A Day to Remember: Lemino MUSIC FES - LAPONE DAY in EXPO



On October 5, 2025, the Lemino MUSIC FES - LAPONE DAY in EXPO was held at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, showcasing some of Japan's leading music groups, including JO1, INI, DXTEEN, ME:I, and IS:SUE. Hosted by NTT Docomo’s video streaming service Lemino®, this event was a significant testament to the global enthusiasm for Japan's vibrant music scene.

The festival kicked off with the energetic performance of IS:SUE, a new generation girl group that lit up the stage with their powerful song, “Breaking Thru the Line.” As they revealed their new look, the audience erupted in applause, captivated by their dynamic rap and radiant energy. The group's leader, NANO, teased the crowd about exciting new developments ahead, fueling the atmosphere with anticipation. Next, the spotlight shifted to DXTEEN, whose lively and refreshing performance had the audience buzzing with excitement. They delivered a sequence of upbeat tracks, including “Dealio!?” and “Handle,” driving the crowd wild with every move. Their charming frontman, Haru Okubo, interacted playfully with the fans using the Kansai dialect, making everyone smile. A special surprise came when they performed JO1's hit song “YOUNG,” which brought the crowd to its feet, marking a highlight of their set that resonated deeply with the audience.

Following DXTEEN was ME:I, who took the stage with fervor. MIU and TSUZUMI set the tone by asking the audience if they were ready for an unforgettable experience. They opened with “Click,” showcasing their sharp dance skills and commanding presence. The lively numbers “Hi-five” and “Summer Magic” resonated with the lingering warmth of the autumn season, and the crowd couldn't help but cheer during their fan-favorite renditions from their audition days.

INI made a grand entrance next, sending waves of excitement through the crowd. The opening notes of “WMDA (Where My Drums At)” had fans roaring, and their synchronized choreography captivated everyone present. Member Masaki Tajima encouraged the audience to keep the energy up, setting the stage for a delivery of the heartfelt song “君がいたから” which led into an emotional surprise unveiling of their music video. The unit songs “BREATH” and “Howlin’,” demonstrated the exceptional talent of their diverse members.

The climax of the festival was without a doubt the performance by JO1, the headlining act. The venue reached new heights as they performed “Handz In My Pocket,” an exhilarating sneak peek at their upcoming single set to release on October 22. The crowd's excitement soared as the JO1 members engaged with them through call and response, creating a powerful connection. As their set progressed, the adrenaline in the arena was palpable, peaking with the highly energetic track “Eyes On Me (feat. R3HAB).” Group dynamic and synchrony were at their finest during the final performance of “Born To Be Wild,” which left fans in awe of their skills.
