Huawei Launches Enhanced Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 Solution for the AI Era

Huawei's Groundbreaking Innovation at MWC 2026

At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona, Huawei unveiled its latest innovation—the upgraded Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 solution. This cutting-edge technology is designed to facilitate the transformation of businesses in the age of artificial intelligence. Alongside this announcement, they also introduced the first commercially available fixed switch with a staggering capacity of 51.2T (128 × 400 GE), featuring liquid cooling technology—the CloudEngine XH9230-128DQ-LC.

Arthur Wang, head of the data center network segment at Huawei, outlined the rapid evolution of data center networks, shifting from predominant virtualization and cloud solutions to a new phase defined by AI integration. The newly launched Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 is structured around a three-layered network architecture, which includes an AI brain, AI connectivity, and AI network elements. This solution integrates four primary capabilities:

1. Robust Architecture 2.0: Ensures three levels of high reliability, leveraging the AI Eagle-Eye engine for enhanced performance.
2. StarryWing Digital Map 2.0: Provides three layers of automation using NetMaster, which optimizes network management processes.
3. Xinghuan AI Turbo 2.0: It offers network packet load balancing (NPLB) and network flow load balancing (NSLB), enabling efficient resource distribution across networks.
4. iFlashboot 2.0: Supports ultra-fast reboots within five seconds, minimizing downtime significantly.

These advancements together aim to empower organizations to build AI-driven data center networks that maintain constant operational readiness, thereby significantly boosting productivity and efficiency.

In addition to the Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0, Huawei's introduction of the CloudEngine XH9230-128DQ-LC marks a significant milestone in the industry. This switch provides complete liquid cooling for optical modules, effectively doubling the average thermal dissipation efficiency within the sector. Furthermore, it supports the deployment of eight switches per cabinet, thereby enhancing cabinet utilization efficiency.

Huawei has also expanded its optical module offerings, launching a complete range of 800 GE/400 GE modules under the StarryLink series. These modules are renowned for their reliability, offering double the average stability compared to competitors, and their ultra-long transmission capabilities.

At Huawei's data center network showcase, the entire portfolio of 800GE products could be explored. This includes the modular CloudEngine XH16800 switches with up to 768 ports at 800GE, the fixed CloudEngine XH9330 with 128 ports, and the CloudEngine XH9320 featuring 64 ports—all part of the 800GE lineup. Notably, the CloudEngine XH9230-128DQ-LC was highlighted as the first industry-standard 51.2T high-density switch with liquid cooling.

Looking ahead, Huawei is committed to fostering open collaboration and continuously delving into innovative technologies for data center networks. The company pledges to promote intelligent upgrades alongside its global clients and partners to generate greater value for industries and customers alike. Huawei’s relentless pursuit of excellence aims to drive forward the data network's evolution, paving the way for smarter and more efficient future infrastructures.

With these innovations from Huawei, companies around the globe have the opportunity to leverage enhanced AI-driven networks which can redefine operational capabilities in an increasingly digital world. The implications of such advancements extend beyond mere technical specifications, hinting at a future where AI truly transforms the landscape of data management and processing.
