Transforming Waste into Urban Resources with PANECO® Board M's Sustainable Building Materials

Transforming Waste into Urban Resources with PANECO® Board M

In a world where fashion consumption is at an all-time high, an astounding 92 million tons of clothing are discarded each year. This staggering figure encompasses everything from worn-out garments and unsold inventory to textile scraps from factories, contributing significantly to environmental degradation. Amidst this crisis, PANECO® poses a vital question: "Is it really trash?"

PANECO® presents a vision for the future where what is deemed waste can become essential urban resources. Their pioneering product, PANECO® board M, uses discarded clothing fibers and textile scraps as its primary materials, all produced through a patented technology (Patent No. 7254401). This eco-friendly building material not only repurposes waste but also holds the promise of contributing to a circular economy, where materials can be recycled again and again.

Why Focus on Building Materials?

The construction and urban development sectors are known for their substantial consumption of resources and energy, placing significant strain on the environment. PANECO® recognizes that transforming discarded clothing into viable building materials can play a crucial role in mitigating this impact. Their goal extends beyond merely creating a new product; they are committed to establishing a comprehensive circular system embedded within urban contexts.
