'Flowers and People' presented by the talented artist
Hanariman. Located in Kashiwa, Chiba, the hotel is part of a network that collaborates closely with the National Cancer Center East Hospital, aiming to create a supportive environment for patients and their families. The
'Flowers and People' exhibition promises to enhance the hotel atmosphere, offering moments of tranquility through art that reflects the resilience of life itself.
Hanariman's artwork, inspired by his own fight against cancer, captures the essence of ordinary life’s brilliance and showcases the strength needed to confront adversity. About the Artist: Hanariman
Hanariman was born in 1996 in Gifu Prefecture and began his artistic journey during a challenging period when he was diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2024. Through his social media, he shares his experiences and creates art focused on themes of life’s perspective, the strength to fight adversity, and the luminous moments in everyday life. Following his recovery in spring 2025, he has organized solo exhibitions and workshops across various platforms.

In his artwork
'100%', Hanariman reflects on his journey after enduring six rounds of treatment. The struggle against chemotherapy brought about a distaste for certain colors that reminded him of his pain. He expresses a longing to return to a version of himself that once embraced color with joy. Determined to reclaim his vitality, he returns to the canvas, adding vibrant orange to symbolize his commitment to healing and renewal.
