In a significant step towards advancing solar energy technology, Huasun Energy, a leading provider of high-efficiency solar solutions, is engaging with New Time, a prominent Italian glass manufacturer specializing in photovoltaic construction materials. During a recent visit to Huasun's headquarters in Xuancheng, China, the delegation led by Paulo Camati, New Time's chairman, explored opportunities for collaboration, particularly in the realms of building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) and heterojunction technology (HJT).

Innovations Driving Collaboration

Huasun Energy has achieved notable breakthroughs in the solar sector, particularly with its HJT and perovskite tandem cell technologies. Notably, the company’s self-developed HJT-perovskite tandem cell has set a new industry benchmark with an impressive efficiency rating of 34.02%. This achievement underscores the company's commitment to integrating photovoltaic technology into various application scenarios, including buildings and transportation.

During the meeting, the representatives from New Time had the opportunity to examine Huasun's research and development capabilities as well as its state-of-the-art production facilities for HJT cells. The two companies discovered that their technological visions align and that their strengths complement one another, paving the way for a fruitful partnership.

The strategic cooperation between Huasun and New Time will focus on three key areas:

Customized BIPV Solutions: They plan to develop products tailored to European building regulations by combining Huasun's advanced HJT technology with New Time's expertise in building energy integration. 3. Product Innovation in Agrivoltaics: The partnership also aims to innovate vertical and semi-transparent photovoltaic modules in line with upcoming European agrivoltaics regulations. They will establish a collaborative framework supported by both technological strengths and market opportunities.
