Major Update for PSO2 New Genesis ver.2

SEGA Corporation has unveiled a thrilling update for their popular online RPG, PSO2 New Genesis ver.2 (NGS ver.2), set to enhance players' experience starting November 12, 2025. This update introduces a new stage system in the Extra Duel mode, along with a wealth of other exciting content.

New Stages in the Extra Duel: Starfall Onslaught

The Extra Duel mode, titled "Starfall Onslaught," now features two additional stages: Stage 3 and Stage 4. In Stage 3, players will face off against "Ravido," while Stage 4 introduces the formidable "Gilzeiva." Notably, a challenging new boss enemy, "High Gilzeiva," has been added to the mix. This powerful foe boasts enhanced stats and introduces new attack patterns compared to its predecessor, making it a worthy adversary.

Successful completion of Rank 5 will reward players with unique accessories modeled after enemy weapons, including "Barough's Sword" and "Barough's Rifle." Players are encouraged to challenge themselves to earn these sought-after items.

Accompanying this new stage introduction are brand-new title tasks and limited-time missions. Completing these tasks will grant players rewards such as "N-Master Cubes" and other enticing goodies.

Celebrate with Mission Pass Season 50

As part of the update, the highly anticipated Mission Pass Season 50, titled “NGS Season 50,” is now live. Players can complete tasks to earn "Stars," which contribute to leveling up their journey through tiers. As players progress, they will unlock various rewards ranging from stamps to accessories, including valuable items like "3-Day My Shop Ticket" and "SG Scratch Exchange Coupons."

This edition also features accessories rooted in the lore of PSO2, including the armor accessories “Souteride” and “Southern Melia,” alongside a new accessory, “Tora Mask.” Additionally, appearances of enemy-themed accessories such as “Mag Form/Size: Lappy” will be part of this exciting lineup, so make sure to grab them while they last.

Introducing Dreamy Story AC Scratch

Another highlight of this update is the launch of a new AC scratch ticket, named “Dreamy Story,” available from November 12, 2025, until December 10, 2025. This new scratch ticket allows players to acquire avatar items inspired by various fairy-tale characters. Notably, a special bonus item “Waiting: Basket Hold” will also become available, adding an exciting option for players to enhance their characters.

Launched in 2012, PSO2 is a domestic online RPG series developed by SEGA, and it continues to attract players globally with over 11 million registered users as of June 2023.
