From September 6 to 29, this online poker series featured a staggering 336 events with guaranteed payouts exceeding $50 million. Notably, players such as Chris Moneymaker, Chris Moorman, Alex Foxen, and Rob Kuhn showcased their exceptional skills, while community members also made their mark throughout the series.

Chris Moneymaker, a legend in the poker world, had a remarkable run. He finished sixth in the $25,500 NLH 8-Max event on September 27, securing a payout of $78,285. The very next day, Moneymaker turned the tide in his favor, winning the $15,400 NLH 8-Max for a whopping $214,987.50. Reflecting on his performance, he remarked, _“It wasn't until the final two days that I actually found my rhythm. I cashed in the $25K and clinched the $15K win, which really salvaged my OSS experience.”_

Foxen, competing under the pseudonym OutFoxenYou, finished as the runner-up in the same event, taking home $157,216.50 from the tournament which boasted a $735,000 total prize pool. Moneymaker's and Foxen’s overlapping performances highlighted the significant competition at this year's OSS XL.

Chris Moorman also made waves by attaining four titles throughout the series. His wins consisted of:
