REMAX Expands Global Reach with New Franchise in Morocco

REMAX®, the leading name in the real estate industry, is making headlines once again with its latest venture into Morocco. The brand, recognized globally for its innovative approaches and success in real estate, has officially launched REMAX Morocco, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy.

The Launch of REMAX Morocco

Set to be headquartered in Casablanca, the new franchise is spearheaded by Rachida Khalil and Bilal Dabri, both seasoned entrepreneurs boasting over a decade of experience in transportation and logistics. Their unique expertise in business development, marketing, and operations positions them perfectly to elevate the real estate experience for clients in Morocco.

Khalil and Dabri explained their decision to introduce the REMAX brand to Morocco, stating, "We saw exceptional growth potential in the Moroccan real estate market. The sector is expanding rapidly, and we chose to bring the REMAX brand to Morocco to offer clients world-class service and access to a global network of opportunities."

Opportunities and Future Growth

The market's landscape is set for transformation with notable events such as the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 FIFA World Cup on the horizon. These events are expected to draw increased investment and international interest to Morocco's thriving property market. Furthermore, the country is gaining recognition as a premier tourist destination, attracting foreign investors eager to explore opportunities in second homes and rental properties.

Khalil and Dabri noted, "This international demand is energizing the market. With its global reach and proven expertise, REMAX is ideally positioned to support this growth and raise the standards of the market."

Although REMAX Morocco represents the official sale of master franchise rights in Morocco, its presence isn't entirely new. The brand previously operated through REMAX City, a brokerage based in Tangier. This brokerage, now a part of the REMAX Morocco network, will benefit from enhanced regional leadership and expanded local resources.

Ambitious Plans for Expansion

REMAX Morocco has set ambitious goals aimed at building a robust franchise network across the country. They plan to sell more than 100 franchises and recruit over 1,000 real estate sales associates, reflecting the leadership team's confidence in Morocco's market dynamics and their commitment to providing professional real estate services throughout the region.

Shawna Gilbert, Senior Vice President of REMAX Global and commercial, emphasized the benefits of this expansion for both buyers and real estate professionals. "Thanks to the global REMAX network, buyers and sellers in Morocco will enjoy broader visibility and access to international investors. They'll also benefit from modern tools and highly trained agents. Khalil and Dabri are passionate leaders who will bring a new level of service to the market," she stated.

Khalil further added, "We aspire to continue to energize the Moroccan real estate market by opening it to the world through the strength of the REMAX network, following the principle: Think global, act local."
