Starting September 9, 2025, the beloved characters of Care Bears™ will take center stage in a limited-time pop-up store called 'Care Bears on the Stage,' located at Laforet Harajuku. Opening for a short period until September 24, this unique event promises an exciting experience complete with exclusive items and interactive booths.

The Care Bears, known for their adorable expressions and vibrant colors, have captivated the hearts of fans around the globe for decades. Each bear features its own unique tummy symbol that signifies values such as sharing, caring, and friendship — making them cherished icons in popular culture.

This pop-up shop will encapsulate the theme of 'Care Bears on the Stage,' emphasizing individuality and self-expression. Visitors can look forward to numerous limited-edition items, including merchandise that showcases the adorable characters in new, enticing designs. Enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to engage with numerous interactive booths where they can immerse themselves in the Care Bears universe.

One of the highlights of this pop-up is a special collaboration with the rising K-pop girl group ILLIT. Having gained immense popularity with their debut single 'Magnetic,' ILLIT has joined forces with the Care Bears for a one-of-a-kind promotional endeavor. The collaboration is tied to the release of their first Japan single, 'Toki yo Tomare,' which is set to drop on September 3, 2025. This partnership has led to exclusive Care Bears art developed specifically for this project, which will be featured on the single's CD jacket and in the accompanying music video.

Limited edition merchandise inspired by this collaboration will be available at the pop-up store. Fans will find plush toys, keychains, and other exclusive items celebrating both ILLIT and the enchanting world of Care Bears. Pricing for the adorable plush toys starts at ¥3,740 and the mascot charms at ¥2,640.

And that's not all! The pop-up store will also showcase a collaboration with SNIDEL HOME, a popular loungewear brand. Starting from September 17, attendees can purchase soft and stylish loungewear items adorned with Care Bears characters. This collection will feature cozy cardigans, knits, shorts, and socks designed with pastel colors, perfect for relaxing while sporting adorable designs. Exclusive novelties will also be given out during the event.
