World Student Pitch Global Final 2026: A Milestone Event
On April 29, 2026, Tokyo Big Sight hosted the inaugural World Student Pitch Global Final (WSP 2026), marking a significant milestone for student entrepreneurship. This event gathered teams from five countries that emerged victorious in their respective national preliminaries, all competing for a grand prize of 3 million yen.
A Gathering of Talent
The World Student Pitch has grown to become one of the largest student pitch competitions globally, with the 2026 edition receiving around 100 applications from preliminary events across various countries. The Tokyo event showcased the culmination of this competition, attracting approximately 400 attendees, including students, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry stakeholders.

Grand Prix Winner
The highlight of the event was the announcement of the grand prize winner.
Pili AdheSeal from the Philippines was awarded the 3 million yen prize for their innovative approach to sustainability. The company has developed eco-friendly adhesive and sealant products from Philippine pine resin waste, aimed at minimizing environmental impact. Their offerings boast high adhesion, rapid curing, non-toxicity, and heat resistance, making them suitable for diverse industries including construction, aviation, and defense.

Building on its successful Tokyo debut, WSP is set to expand its reach to countries such as India, South Korea, the USA, and various nations in Europe. The next editions aim to provide a robust platform for student entrepreneurs, encouraging innovation and collaboration on a global scale.
