Furniture China 2025 BEYOND NEXT: Transforming the Furniture Industry in Pudong
Furniture China 2025 BEYOND NEXT Opens Its Doors in Pudong
The highly anticipated Furniture China 2025 and Maison Shanghai event is set to take place in Pudong from September 9 to 13, 2025. This exhibition, jointly organized by the China National Furniture Association (CNFA) and Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets, marks the 30th anniversary and promises to be a milestone in the furniture industry. With a visionary theme titled "BEYOND NEXT," the event aims to inspire transformative innovations across furniture design, production, and sustainability efforts while fostering global business partnerships.
Spanning more than 350,000 square meters, Furniture China will feature over 3,500 exhibitors from various sectors focused on furniture, materials, and cutting-edge solutions. This year's highlight includes a strong emphasis on both sustainability and innovation, aligning with global trends and consumer demand.
Sustainability Takes Center Stage
For the first time, the event will introduce a Garden Furniture Pavilion at SNIEC, showcasing sustainable and trendy outdoor furniture solutions across an expansive 8,000 square meters. In addition to this, a new showroom dedicated to high-end custom commercial furniture will provide immersive displays of spatial solutions tailored for offices, retail spaces, and cultural venues, all in line with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles.
The organization of the exhibition halls is designed to facilitate a seamless purchasing process for global buyers, thoughtfully categorizing products into key areas such as modern furniture, upholstered seating, mattresses, office furniture, outdoor furniture, tables & chairs, materials, and fittings. Additionally, the accompanying events—FMC China and FMC Premium—will connect manufacturers, buyers, and designers, allowing them to forge strategic partnerships while promoting collaboration.
Redefining Home Interiors at Maison Shanghai
Running concurrently, Maison Shanghai will redefine high-end home interiors during its Design Week from September 9 to 12 at SWEECC. The event will focus on the "Value of Design" theme, featuring participation from over 800 brands across four thematic pavilions. Key attractions include diverse home decorations and accessories, lifestyle trends, curated furniture designs inspired by art, and direct-sales zones that effectively connect designers with over 200 OEM/ODM manufacturers.
More than 100 forums and events will be held during the week, such as the prestigious Gold Idea Design Award and the Maison Design Conference, aimed at fostering dialogue among industry professionals and nurturing innovative interior design solutions.
Global Connections and Digital Integration
Leveraging technology, the DTS platform and the official app (DTS FurnitureChina) will provide continuous connectivity between businesses, bridging the gap between digital and physical commerce. This innovative approach will help attendees explore advancements in furniture, sustainability, and future design trends at Shanghai Pudong.
Visitors are encouraged to pre-register for free admission to both Maison Shanghai and Furniture China, enabling them to be part of this groundbreaking event.
