Enhancing Women's Health and Parenting Support with Online Consulting for 2025

Supporting Women's Health Through Online Consultation

In a progressive step towards enhancing women's health and parenting support, Kids Public, led by CEO Naoya Hashimoto, is set to continue its collaboration with the Tokyo Health Insurance Association for the fiscal year 2025. This initiative aims to provide accessible online health consultation services to around 1.5 million insured women, marking a significant advancement in healthcare flexibility and support for parents in their daily lives.

Since its inception in 2022, the Online Obstetrics and Pediatrics Consultation service has evolved in response to identified needs for women's health resources. Originally titled the "Women’s Health Consultation Initiative," this program transformed into the "Women’s Health and Parenting Consultation Desk" for the 2024 fiscal year, illustrating a clear commitment to adapt and grow within the dynamic landscape of women's health requirements.

The service, accessible via smartphones, connects women with obstetricians, pediatricians, and midwives, offering them a straightforward way to address unique health concerns and parenting challenges. The flexibility and ease of this service enable women to seek professional help at times that suit their busy schedules.

Continued Partnership for Greater Impact

The Tokyo Health Insurance Association has acknowledged the positive impact that this consultation service has had over the past two years. In response to requests for continued support from member health insurance associations, Kids Public has ensured that the Online Obstetrics and Pediatrics service will be provided again in 2025. This sustained partnership showcases a deep commitment to addressing women's health issues comprehensively.

Additionally, this year's implementation of the new feature called "Everyone's Consultation Search" allows users to explore over 10,000 reliable consultation cases curated by medical professionals. This innovative tool enables women to find answers similar to their own concerns based on previous queries, fostering a greater sense of community and support among users.

Voices from Stakeholders

According to a representative from the Tokyo Health Insurance Association, the service has been instrumental in reaching working women who often struggle to attend medical facilities due to job and family obligations. Their feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the need for services that empower women to thrive without compromising on health or parenting roles.

In parallel, Yasunori Saga of Pasona Medical emphasizes the importance of their Women's Health Support Program, Kira+sup. Launched in September 2021, the program includes original training videos and online consultation services, establishing a supportive network for women. Continuing to reach out to these 57 health insurance associations represents a holistic approach towards wellness, enabling women to flourish both personally and professionally.
