Hollyland Launches New Large-Scale Wireless Intercom System
Hollyland Technologies has taken a bold step into the future of communication systems by introducing a cutting-edge large-scale wireless intercom designed for professional environments. This innovative solution is specifically crafted for broadcasting, live events, and industrial applications, aiming to redefine the standards of audio communication within extensive venues.
At the heart of this groundbreaking system is the
Geo Central Station, a highly adaptable hub capable of supporting up to
80 wireless belt packs that seamlessly connect with the antenna. A standout feature is the capability for cascading roaming, expanding wireless coverage to over
4 million square meters, equivalent to approximately
560 football fields. This impressive reach enables flawless communication in vast spaces, essential during large-scale productions and live broadcasts.
Equipped with native
Dante integration and four network ports, the Geo Central Station minimizes the necessity for extra audio interface equipment, simplifying installation processes while providing reliable, dedicated audio channels for various groups. The
Solidcom H1 belt pack further enhances the system's versatility, functioning independently or in conjunction with the Geo Central Station. In standalone mode, it supports 30 belt packs, and this number increases to 80 when combined with the central station, ensuring constant connectivity in diverse filming or operational environments.
According to
Dave Liu, Hollyland’s Technical Director, this system meets the evolving demands of large, dispersed production teams. The modular design features allow for scalable capacity based on project requirements, as belt packs can switch fluidly between
Remote Radio Units (RRUs) and central stations, facilitating deployment in challenging conditions regardless of location. The system thrives beyond physical locations with its built-in cloud connectivity, enabling real-time communication in wide area networks.
When compared to consumer-grade communication solutions, Hollyland's new intercom system boasts several industry-leading advantages. Its capacity to scale between
30 to 80 belt packs accommodates a broad spectrum of production needs—from intimate setups to extensive live events—all while operating in a robust 1.9 GHz frequency band. For outdoor applications, each
Solidcom ANT01 unit offers a wide operational range of
500 meters in open environments, ensuring comprehensive connectivity across expansive areas.
To manage multiple teams efficiently, innovative group management capabilities allow operators to save, assign, and switch among up to
100 programmed communication groups. This feature proves invaluable for coordinating between numerous teams in dynamic setups. Even in smaller configurations, the system supports up to
12 independent groups for each ANT01 device cluster.
Designed for maximum mobility, the Solidcom BPK01 belt pack weighs under
305 grams with its battery and provides a commendable operational life of
up to 15 hours. Additionally, the device's integrated Bluetooth functionality allows users to connect wireless earbuds or headsets effortlessly, promoting hassle-free use without the clutter of cords. Four programmable buttons enhance user experience through advanced control options, accommodating multi-channel communication, call alerts, and various combinations all through an intuitive interface.
A remarkable feature of the system is the complete cloud integration. Two Geo Central Stations connected across locations can manage up to
80 belt packs, and a trio of Solidcom ANT01 devices linked via the cloud can facilitate operation for up to
30 belt packs. This structure invites flexible participation from remote coordinators, directors, or technical managers. Moreover, it allows for real-time remote diagnostics and assistance, with authorized users capable of accessing system settings and configuration interfaces via a secure web browser, enabling timely technical support and maintenance without the necessity for on-site intervention.
“Our objective with this new series is to deliver a truly scalable, flexible, and unrestricted wireless communication platform to users worldwide,” added Liu.
