Building Futures: A Unique Exploration of Gaudí
Global Learner’s Institute (GLI), a consulting-based English education provider, is set to launch its special inquiry program, "Field Trip Plus: Gaudí Tour & Mosaic Art Workshop," in March 2026.
This innovative program takes students on a journey through the works and philosophies of renowned Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí, effectively merging essential English skills with advanced critical thinking. Designed for families aiming for the top domestic and international schools, this initiative stands out in today’s competitive educational landscape.
Why Gaudí, and Why Now?
In an era dominated by AI and globalization, the modern educational system cannot merely focus on rote memorization or a wealth of knowledge. Today’s learners must develop essential skills such as:
- - The ability to ask meaningful questions
- - Understanding complex structures
- - Articulating ideas clearly in their own words
Through the lens of Gaudí's iconic creations, most notably the Sagrada Familia, students will traverse the intersections of art, mathematics, and natural sciences. Engaging questions such as "Why is this shape used?" and "What is the relationship to nature?" will prompt deeper inquiries and discussions about architectural concepts.
A Comprehensive Learning Experience
The unique features of GLI's Field Trip Plus program set it apart from traditional English conversation classes. Participants will engage in:
- - Research conducted in English
- - Diverse discussions promoting multifaceted thinking
- - Presentations that encourage public speaking and expression
- - Interactive dialogues facilitated by small group settings, ensuring effective communication
These activities aim not just at acquiring language skills but at fostering genuine critical thinking abilities, which are increasingly vital for students considering competitive school admissions.
This field trip is perfectly tailored to those families committed to enhancing English proficiency in tandem with preparing for middle school entrance exams or international educational opportunities.
Preparing Ahead for Success
One of the standout elements of the Field Trip Plus program is the emphasis on pre-trip learning. On March 7th, the day before the main event, GLI will host a preparatory session at its Harumi location. Attendees will gather foundational knowledge and set questions that will elevate the immersive experience on the day of the trip.
For those unable to attend the preparatory class, GLI will provide worksheets and supporting materials to ensure every participant is well-equipped for the journey ahead.
Moreover, all students with any concerns regarding their English proficiency can feel reassured. Support staff will accompany learners on the trip, offering guidance and facilitating their learning experiences throughout the day.
