By grouping objects and flows, users can better understand the overall structure, and independent logic adjustments can be made with limited impact, improving the maintainability of the simulation model.

2. Task Sequence Queue

Also newly implemented, the Task Sequence Queue is a visual tool that displays a timeline of tasks assigned to available resources, such as workers or automated guided vehicles (AGVs). Users can now view the upcoming tasks for each resource in real-time during simulation execution, greatly reducing the time previously spent debugging or adjusting models.

3. Time-Based Utilization Rate Chart

FlexSim 2025 introduces a Time-Based Utilization Rate Chart, visualizing the operational rates of resources like workers and machines over time. This feature enables users to analyze when resources are most effective and identify peak times and idle periods easily. By using this chart, companies can visually manage resource overuse and waste, aiding in process improvements.

Version Upgrade Availability

For users with a maintenance agreement or subscribed to subscription plans, an upgrade to the new version is now available. Notifications regarding the release of the new version will be sent to eligible customers, enabling immediate access. Genetec is also hosting an online seminar to detail the new features for upgrade-eligible users, with further information to be provided shortly on the product site and the company website.

Launch of FlexSim User Community Site

With the release of FlexSim 2025, Genetec has revamped its existing FlexSim FAQ Site, now featuring a forum for technical discussions among users.
