Online Eco-Tourism Guide Course for the Middle and Senior Generations
On June 27, 2026, Pasona Masters, in collaboration with the Japan Eco-Tourism Association, will be hosting an online course titled "Beginning Eco-Tourism: A Journey into Eco-Tourism Learning. — A Gateway to Future Guides—". This course aims to empower middle and senior generations by providing them with new opportunities for learning and engagement within the fields of environment, community, and tourism.
As Japan faces challenges such as population decline, a shortage of local leaders, and the need for sustainable tourism, the demand for individuals who can convey the cultural and natural value of local areas to visitors is increasing. In this landscape, local guides play a crucial role. Interest in eco-tourism has surged as it represents a way to balance tourism with environmental conservation.
Course Objectives
The eco-tourism course will cover essential concepts and practical methods related to eco-tourism. Participants will gain insights into their roles as guides, deepening their understanding of how to engage with their communities.
