OCLI Vision is excited to announce the arrival of Dr. Jerry D. Hai, DO, a highly trained ophthalmologist with a focus on glaucoma and complex eye conditions. Starting October 1, 2026, he will be consulting patients at OCLI Vision's locations in Lake Success and Mineola, delivering cutting-edge, thorough care for those affected by glaucoma and other complicated ocular issues.

Expertise and Education



Dr. Hai brings a wealth of knowledge and an array of clinical expertise to his role at OCLI Vision. His extensive training, honed through a fellowship in glaucoma, allows him to diagnose and manage complex cases effectively. In his practice, he emphasizes integrating the latest research and therapeutic advancements to create tailored treatment strategies aimed at preserving and enhancing patients' vision.

Dr. Hai earned his osteopathic medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, complementing it with a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from Boston University. His residency in ophthalmology was completed at BronxCare Health System, where he served as Chief Resident. Following this, he undertook a glaucoma fellowship at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary at the University of Illinois Chicago, equipping him with specialized training in both the medical and surgical facets of glaucoma.
