Discover TANO at iREX 2025
TANOTECH Inc. is excited to showcase its innovative motion training system,
TANO, at the
2025 International Robot Exhibition (iREX2025). This major event, taking place from
December 3 to 6, 2025, at
Tokyo Big Sight, marks the 26th iteration of an exhibition that began in 1974. Known as one of the largest robotics exhibitions globally, iREX2025 will focus on the theme of
"A Sustainable Society through Robotics," gathering a diverse range of cutting-edge technologies from around the world that enable collaboration between humans and robots.
The TANO system revolutionizes the concept of physical training by utilizing a non-contact and non-wearable interface, allowing users simply to position themselves in front of sensors to transform their bodies into controllers. This innovative approach makes it possible for users to engage in full-body movements, gaming experiences, cognitive stimulation, and responsive activities, all underpinned by the joy of exercise. TANO stands out as a next-generation welfare device that merges fun with effective training, and it will be presented at the exhibition as a valuable tool not only for healthcare and welfare but also for education, community engagement, and commercial facilities.

About TANO
TANO utilizes state-of-the-art non-contact sensors, making it a unique platform where your body serves as the controller. Users can enjoy over
300 engaging activities designed for practical training without the hassle of equipment. This system is not only beneficial for rehabilitation and daily living activities; it also promotes user autonomy and communication, thus reducing the burden on caregivers.
Developed with insights from physiotherapists and welfare experts, TANO is being increasingly adopted in various environments, including welfare facilities, hospitals, universities, research institutions, and commercial spaces. In 2023, TANO was selected for the
AMED (Japan Medical Research and Development Organization) project aimed at enhancing robotic caregiving devices, emphasizing ongoing improvements in functionality and usability.
iREX2025 promises to be a gathering of the forefront of robotics and industrial digital transformation. Attendees of the exhibition will have the chance to experience TANO’s intuitive user interface and explore how it makes fitness enjoyable and sustainable. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the event, where you can engage with the future of health and wellness.
