In a significant stride toward sustainable transportation, Gotion, in collaboration with Green Power Morocco (GPM) and Chery Heavy Trucks, is set to launch a colossal electric logistics corridor linking Morocco and France. As of April 7, 2026, this ambitious initiative aims to transform the way goods are transported across continents, significantly reducing carbon emissions in the process.

Project Overview

The newly established logistics route spans approximately 2,000 kilometers, initiating from Agadir in southern Morocco and passing through the bustling port of Tangier, ultimately reaching Perpignan in southern France. Currently, this corridor is frequented by around 2,000 heavy trucks each day, highlighting its importance in regional trade. However, the partners are innovating to phase out conventional diesel-powered trucks in favor of electric alternatives, with plans to gradually introduce environmentally friendly vehicles and the necessary infrastructure.
