TXOne Networks and PwC Consulting Launch Fast Asset Identification for OT Environments

TXOne Networks and PwC Consulting Launch Collaboration for OT Security

TXOne Networks Japan, a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions tailored for Operational Technology (OT) environments in the manufacturing sector, has announced a new partnership with PwC Consulting. Together, they aim to develop a rapid asset identification solution optimized for OT environments. This innovative solution is set to be provided by PwC Consulting starting October 24, 2025.

In recent years, the threat of cyberattacks in OT environments—particularly in manufacturing, infrastructure, and energy sectors—has escalated significantly. Traditional IT security measures often fall short in addressing the unique challenges posed by OT environments, compelling organizations to seek advanced visualization and risk management methods.

TXOne specializes in providing security solutions designed specifically for OT environments. The collaboration integrates TXOne's asset discovery and vulnerability assessment functionalities with PwC Consulting's extensive consulting experience in cybersecurity. This combination allows for efficient asset information collection without impacting the operational integrity of OT environments, enhancing visibility into asset configurations.

Overview of the New Solution

The rapidly deployable asset identification solution serves as a foundational step for security risk evaluation in OT settings. Leveraging TXOne's technology, this solution can automatically detect assets within an OT environment. Coupled with PwC Consulting's knowledge derived from past projects, the solution enables quick identification of assets and visualization of configurations without disrupting manufacturing processes. Furthermore, it will generate a report detailing any identified vulnerabilities and associated security risks.

With this solution, PwC Consulting plans to assist companies struggling with asset identification in their OT environments by providing the following key support services:

  • - Network Information and Asset Detail Collection: Utilizing TXOne's solution to gather network data and detailed asset information.
  • - Creation of Asset Listings and Network Diagrams: Based on analysis results, PwC will provide a comprehensive overview of asset information and network configurations.
  • - Vulnerability and Risk Reporting: A report outlining identified vulnerabilities and security risks.

Additionally, upon request, detailed risk assessments and recommendations for addressing urgent risks can also be provided based on the findings.
