Experience the Magic of Winter at Lalaport Fukuoka
Daiichi Engei Co., Ltd., renowned for its floral and greenery projects, is set to bring a captivating winter wonderland to Lalaport Fukuoka in Fukuoka, Japan. From November 15, 2025, to February 3, 2026, this seasonal showcase promises a delightful atmosphere, reminiscent of festivals like the Hakata Dontaku, ensuring fun for both kids and adults alike.
A Festive Ambiance
Lalaport Fukuoka stands as the first of its kind in Kyushu, eagerly attracting visitors not only from Fukuoka but from surrounding regions as well. With an array of stunning decorations and illuminations crafted by Daiichi Engei, guests can anticipate an enchanting environment filled with wonder.
All eyes will be drawn to the vibrant, dynamic design echoing the lively spirit of Hakata Dontaku, complemented by a magnificent symbol tree and a dome-shaped decoration that transforms throughout the day. Both spaces are perfect for capturing memorable family photos, creating special moments for all who visit.
A Winter Dome of Light and Sound
One of the key highlights of this winter season is the interactive dome decoration located in the Oval Park, which has become a favorite spot for relaxation. At the center of this space, a stage featuring a taiko (Japanese drum) theme introduces guests to a unique light and sound experience each time they step onto it.
The decorations will change throughout the season, dividing the display into four distinctive periods, showcasing various themes:
- - Season 1 (Nov 15 - Dec 25): Christmas Dontaku
- - Season 2 (Dec 26 - Jan 15): New Year Dontaku
- - Season 3 (Jan 16 - Jan 31): Winter Dontaku
- - Season 4 (Feb 1 - Feb 3): Winter Finale Dontaku
Unique Local Designs
Adding to the allure are the colorful, original benches shaped like Fukuoka-style mentaiko (spicy cod roe), enhancing the atmosphere with a local touch. Daytime guests can enjoy the sun shining through the aurora flower ornaments that adorn the symbol tree, creating a dazzling display. When night falls, the illumination reveals a more ethereal glow, transforming the environment into a magical space.
The symbol tree, with its exquisite decorations, stands tall as a guardian of Oval Park, beckoning visitors to experience its captivating charm. This stunning centerpiece, accompanied by the mentaiko-inspired sofa, offers yet another ideal photo opportunity, blending creativity with local culture.
