JR Kyushu's Hand-Drawn Newspaper Exhibition in Tokyo



JR Kyushu Tokyo branch staff have dedicated their creativity to produce the hand-drawn newspaper “Tetsubun”. Celebrating the upcoming release of its 100th edition scheduled for December 2024, a special exhibition showcasing original drawings will take place in Tokyo from August 3 to 9, 2025. The event will be held at the B1F Silver Salon C of the Tokyo Transportation Hall located at 2-10-1 Yurakucho, Chiyoda-ku.

Exhibition Content


The exhibition will feature the original illustrations from each edition of “Tetsubun”, showcasing the meticulous hand-drawn process. From the first issue to the upcoming 100th issue, visitors can appreciate the dynamic nature of the artwork, including corrections and the warmth of the artists' hand. Some replicas will also be displayed.

Merchandise Sales


During the event, exclusive “Tetsubun” merchandise will be available for purchase. Visitors can expect limited quantities of compilations of past editions, original illustrations, plus unique triangular lottery slips offering chances to win
