Staples and Junior Achievement Join Forces for Educational Support This Back-to-School Season

Staples Partners with Junior Achievement for Back-to-School

As the back-to-school season approaches, Staples has announced an engaging partnership with Junior Achievement (JA) to enhance educational support for students across the nation. This initiative comes in response to the critical need for mentorship and career-centric learning experiences that can significantly influence young people's futures.

From July 26 to August 22, 2026, Staples will host a Back-to-School Round-Up Campaign across its stores. During this period, customers will have the opportunity to round up their purchases at checkout, with the extra change going directly to Junior Achievement. These funds will help bolster JA's programs, which are designed to foster confident, capable, and resourceful students who are well-prepared for the future ahead.

Tim Greinert, President of Junior Achievement USA, acknowledged the impact of Staples' collaboration, stating, "Staples has been a tremendous partner with Junior Achievement in promoting students' economic mobility by investing in JA's career-connected learning. We appreciate this opportunity for Staples' customers to support JA's mission directly, while Staples is also offering benefits to our partners in the education community."

In addition to the round-up campaign, Staples is offering teachers a considerable benefit throughout the back-to-school season. From now until September 12, eligible educators can enjoy a 20% discount on in-store purchases. This discount includes essential classroom supplies such as bulk supply packs starting at just $12.99, custom print services, classroom décor, storage options, sensory materials, and cleaning products. This initiative goes beyond mere discounts, as Staples actively seeks to equip educators with the resources they need to create engaging learning environments.

Marshall Warkentin, President of Staples U.S. Retail, expressed his commitment to empowering students and educators alike. He stated, "Every student deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and prepare for the future. That's why we're proud to partner with Junior Achievement this back-to-school season. Through our round-up campaign, customers can join us in supporting programs that help students gain valuable skills and explore future career opportunities."

Since 2022, Staples has made significant strides in supporting Junior Achievement through various local programs, volunteer initiatives, and national events, ultimately expanding opportunities for students nationwide. By participating in this campaign, customers not only contribute to the education of future leaders but also engage in a cause that strengthens the educational framework of their communities.
