Huawei Unveils Fully Upgraded AI-Centric Intelligent Network
During the HUAWEI CONNECT 2025 event held in Shanghai, Huawei introduced a further evolved version of its Xinghe intelligent network, focused entirely on artificial intelligence. This innovative solution is intended to expedite the intelligent transformation across different sectors, providing businesses with powerful, tailored connectivity experiences.
Leon Wang, President of Huawei's Data Communication Product Line, opened the summit with insights into how the Xinghe intelligent network integrates AI at its core, featuring a unique architecture that comprises three layers. These layers include an AI-centered brain, AI-centric connectivity systems, and AI-oriented devices. This setup is designed to dramatically enhance the integration of AI within communication networks, delivering bespoke services such as zero packet loss, high performance, low-latency experiences, and zero-trust security.
As AI reshapes the business landscape at an unprecedented pace, networking needs to meet three primary demands: efficient computing power release, guaranteed service experience, and protection against unexplored threats. To address these challenges, the Xinghe intelligent network includes four fundamental solutions: Xinghe AI Campus, Xinghe Intelligent WAN, Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0, and Xinghe AI Network Security. Each solution plays a pivotal role in driving smart transformation amidst rising technological complexities across all industries.
Key Components of the Xinghe Network
The Xinghe AI Campus extends network security from the digital realm to the physical world. Innovations such as Huawei's Wi-Fi Shield and unauthorized access prevention technologies launched last year tackle air interface security effectively. Additionally, Huawei introduced the industry's first wireless access point designed to detect hidden cameras, ensuring the protection of trade secrets and privacy around the clock. In sensitive environments like executive offices and R&D labs, centimeter-scale micromovement detection via Wi-Fi technology assures seamless spatial security.
On the other hand, Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 provides intelligent security for general-purpose and AI-oriented computing, enabling peak processing performance. In general computing scenarios, the unified simulation of switches and security devices cuts down service implementation from 7 days to just 5 minutes. The technology can detect more than 200,000 service flows in real-time, identifying failures within seconds. For AI computing scenarios, Huawei's internal detection engine enables agile switching between training and inference functions on GPUs, achieving 100% compute utilization and a 10% increase in inference performance. The innovative four-plane architecture with two-layer cluster networks can support up to 100,000 GPUs while reducing costs by 40% compared to traditional setups.
The Xinghe Intelligent WAN offers integrated high-capacity network computing services that provide on-demand computing power to businesses. It features intelligent enterprise private line services in two editions—Basic and Pro. By utilizing the Starnet lossless algorithm and the Starnet vector engine, it ensures the lossless packet transmission over long distances while keeping computational efficiency losses below 5%, thus enhancing data security at the premises. This feature significantly reduces initial investment and supports elastic scaling while ensuring data security and optimal computing utilization.
Lastly, Xinghe AI Network Security adopts an
