Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer Zhang Haimeng delivered a compelling video presentation outlining LONGi's innovative strategies and notable successes in combatting desertification.

Zhang highlighted the staggering statistics: global desertification affects 45% of the earth's surface, impacting approximately 3.2 billion people—about one-third of the world's population. Remarkably, utilizing merely 1% of the world's desert lands for photovoltaic power generation could satisfy the electricity demands of every individual on the planet. Furthermore, if 70% of these desert areas transitioned into sustainable oases, they could effectively absorb all carbon emissions produced by human activities.
