Shanghai Electric stands as the exclusive supplier in China for core equipment of high-temperature gas-cooled reactors, presenting models of its Hualong One and Guohe One reactors, which underscores its robust capacity in manufacturing third and fourth-generation nuclear energy technologies.

As a key player in the nuclear fusion project "Artificial Sun" since 2000, the company has solidified its position as one of the most comprehensive suppliers for nuclear fusion reactor core equipment systems. At CIIF 2025, it presented critical components of reactor systems, including vacuum chambers, thermal shields, coil casings, and Dewar vessels—demonstrating China's independent innovation capabilities in controlled nuclear fusion technology.
