Exciting news for children and parents in Kawasaki! On May 13 and 20, 2025, Cross Sports Academia, a unique exploration-based sports program by MoveX Inc., will hold free dance experience sessions for children aged 4 and above at Oyama Kaido Furusato-kan. This event aims to ignite children's potential and support them in taking their first steps toward a bright future.

Dance is a powerful medium that combines fun, rhythm, and self-expression. At this event, children can enjoy the thrill of moving to music while developing essential skills and bonding with peers. The program integrates various forms of movement with dance, ensuring that participants learn how to utilize their bodies effectively, think critically, and express themselves creatively.

The free dance experience incorporates rhythmic exercises and fun mini-games that teach children how to use their bodies. Our dedicated instructors ensure every child receives personalized attention, whether they have prior dance experience or not! We encourage exploration, self-determination, and teamwork, nurturing essential life skills through sports.

What is Cross Sports Academia?

Cross Sports Academia is not just any sports school; it is a multi-sport program designed to develop the body, mind, and spirit of children through a variety of urban sports such as parkour, dance, double dutch, and athletics, among others. Our comprehensive approach improves athletic abilities and fosters critical thinking, independence, and a spirit of challenge—qualities essential for thriving in the future.

Instructors include permanent educators as well as various sports specialists who rotate monthly, allowing children to receive expert coaching tailored to their individual skill levels. Our welcoming environment is perfect for beginners, with structured warm-ups and coaching designed to build confidence through a series of successful experiences.

Event Details

- Dates: May 13 and May 20, 2025
- Times & Age Groups:

- 1:30 PM to 2:20 PM (Pre-school Class)
- 2:50 PM to 3:40 PM (Elementary School)
- 4:00 PM to 4:50 PM (Elementary School)
Each session is limited to the first 20 participants.

- Location: Oyama Kaido Furusato-kan, Takatsu-ku, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture

Activities Include:

- Dancing
- Mini-games to learn body movements
- Simple dance performance by instructors

Participation Fees:

When registering with a friend or sibling, all participants join for free! Individual participants only pay 500 yen.

Meet Our Instructors

- Dance Instructor: Massu

With a background in various sports, Massu has explored POP dance under professional dancers since 2020. He combines his sports and educational experiences to offer a rich learning environment for students.

- Homeroom Instructor: Tanpopo

A skilled educator with experience in karate and various sports, Tanpopo focuses on teaching children how to warm up and engage in movement-based games while promoting a deep understanding of bodily structures and sports science.
