Engage in Fair Trade with 'Chocolat Trade'

Kobe Gakuin University’s Faculty of Business Administration is all set to offer participants an engaging experience with their original game, 'Chocolat Trade', at the upcoming Ekonomia Workshop held in Mikage Classe. Developed under the guidance of Professor Yukie Tsuji, students will lead this unique initiative focused on the theme of fair trade.

Objective of the Workshop

The workshop aims to provide participants with a simulated experience of being chocolate producers in developing countries. Through gameplay, attendees will strategize about how to market chocolate and gain substantial profit. This fun activity caters to both children and adults, allowing everyone to learn about the global challenges behind the beloved chocolate and the significance of fair trade principles.

Original Teaching Material

The game itself, 'Chocolat Trade', is crafted specifically by Professor Tsuji's seminar students as a part of a project initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. University students will act as navigators, effectively guiding participants through the gameplay to enrich their learning experience.
