Haitian Launches New Manufacturing Facility in Ruma, Serbia

Haitian's New Manufacturing Facility in Ruma, Serbia

Haitian International Holdings Ltd. has taken a significant step forward by opening its new manufacturing plant in Ruma, Serbia. This recent development was celebrated with an internal open house event, where employees and key partners had the opportunity to explore the facility and learn about its strategic importance. The new plant forms a crucial component of Haitian’s broader European strategy, ensuring localized production of machinery, streamlined logistics, robust research and development capabilities, and extended growth potential.

Focus on Local Manufacturing

The Ruma facility is poised to meet various market demands with its commitment to local production. This aligns with Haitian's guiding principle of creating and expanding advantages for customers, enabling the plant to cater to the diverse needs of the European market effectively. Current plans indicate that manufacturing will center on injection molding machines, focusing on the well-established Mars (servo-hydraulic elbow injection molding machines) and Jupiter (servo-hydraulic two-component injection molding machines) series. To date, over 50 machines have already been produced, with initial units shipped to customers.

Role as a Central Hub

In addition to producing injection molding machines, Haitian Serbia is set to serve as a critical hub for the supply of spare parts to the European market. With warehouses located in both Serbia and Germany, along with additional decentralized storage locations throughout the continent, Haitian aims to ensure quick availability of essential components, thereby reducing downtime for customers. This centralization strategy is designed to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.

Tailored Solutions for the Plastics Industry

To better serve the specific needs of the European plastics processing industry, Haitian is ramping up its capacity focused on advanced machinery and integrated system solutions. This expansion involves recruiting engineers specializing in the design of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components for injection molding machines. Furthermore, with a European research and development team dedicated to high-performance and bespoke applications, Haitian plans to manufacture tailored machines and solutions aligned with regional demands. This includes optimized machine configurations and fully integrated production cells.

Commitment to Long-Term Partnerships

The investment in the Serbian production facility underscores Haitian's commitment to becoming a long-term partner for the European plastics and processing industry. The initiative is rooted in three main pillars of Haitian's global strategy: establishing regional headquarters, localized manufacturing, and creating multiple application centers across Europe. This approach reinforces Haitian's dedication to the market and its continuous growth trajectory in the region.

In conclusion, the launch of the new manufacturing facility in Ruma marks a pivotal moment for Haitian as it seeks to enhance its operational capabilities in Europe. The facility not only signifies the company's commitment to local production but also highlights its strategy to deliver high-quality machines and solutions tailored for the specific demands of the European market. With its eyes set on the future, Haitian is well-equipped to meet the evolving challenges of the plastics processing industry while contributing to regional economic growth.
