Golden Arrow Reports Significant Copper Mining Results at San Pietro Project in Chile

Exploration Highlights: New Results from San Pietro Project

Golden Arrow Resources Corporation is making waves in the mining industry with its latest results from the San Pietro Project located in Chile. Recent drilling at the southern extension of the Rincones target area has revealed promising findings, including a remarkable 283 meters averaging 0.23% copper, alongside notable levels of gold, cobalt, and iron. This achievement marks a significant milestone for the company as it moves forward in its exploration efforts.

Detailed Drilling Results

The highlights from the latest drilling results include several intervals with higher concentrations of copper. Specifically, two intervals of SP-DDH-38 stand out: one measuring 75 meters with an average of 0.33% copper, and another section averaging 0.51% copper over 11.55 meters. Additionally, a segment of 9.35 meters demonstrated an even higher average of 0.74% copper, confirming the area’s rich mineralization potential.

The first exploration hole, SP-DDH-29, targeted a southern extension of the Rincones deposit and showcased a substantial 310.85 meters averaging 0.19% copper. As groundwork continues, the company's exploration team is optimistic about further expanding the Rincones mineralization toward the adjacent Colla target.

According to Brian McEwen, VP of Exploration and Development, these drill results have confirmed that the southern extension yet remains underexplored despite already demonstrating significant mineralization parameters. The current Phase 2 program has so far identified nine holes that exhibit intervals of over 100 meters of remarkable copper grades. With the completion of this phase and the anticipation of evaluating additional holes, the results are feeding into preparations for a future Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE).

Expansion of Mineralization

The successful completion of the Phase 2 diamond drilling campaign at the San Pietro Project included a sophisticated tactical approach. The latest holes drilled have allowed for a proper reassessment of mineralization not only at Rincones but also beyond its primary borders, making the newfound areas ripe for further exploration. The drill holes, including SP-DDH-35 and SP-DDH-37, have also expanded mineralization intervals, thus providing a more comprehensive picture of the resource available.

Drilling in SP-DDH-37 successfully identified significant zones of mineralization in the central area of Rincones, further corroborating the attributes detected in previous historical drills. With reported intervals over 130 meters and associated copper concentrations, this hole underscores the rising significance of the Rincones area in Golden Arrow's exploratory endeavors.

Project Overview and Future Prospects

The San Pietro Project is approximately 20,000 hectares of promising land that lies in close proximity to Capstone Copper's active sites. This positions the project advantageously within a developing mineral district. The geological compositions in play consist mainly of Cretaceous aged volcanic and sedimentary formations, rich in iron-copper-gold-cobalt mineralization patterns. These formations present a unique opportunity, promising an exploration environment characterized by extensive geological alteration systems.

As Golden Arrow strengthens its footprint in the mining sector, the focus remains on completing the upcoming MRE, forecasted to be completed within weeks. With the current trends in drilling results suggesting an encouraging resource base, the company's future could be marked by significant advancements in copper and cobalt output from the San Pietro Project.

In summary, the combination of remarkable drilling results, experienced geological oversight, and strategic exploration goals positions Golden Arrow Resources at the forefront of mining exploration in Chile. As the project progresses, stakeholders and investors alike are keenly watching for additional developments that could further define the scope and scale of the San Pietro Project's untapped potential.
