Family Fun at CLASTYLE Nail College

On April 5, 2025, CLASTYLE Nail College, operated by PS International, organized an engaging nail art experience aimed specifically at families. Held during spring break, this special event attracted children aged 10 to 15 and their parents who wanted to bond while diving into the world of nail art.

The event began with participants learning to apply base gel to nail tips, paving the way for budding nail artists to experiment with their skills. Attendees seemed excited, with some expressing aspirations of becoming professional nailists one day. One participant shared, "I usually decorate hair clips and hope to become a nail artist in the future." Another parent brought their child along, saying, "I’m studying at CLASTYLE myself and wanted to introduce my child to nail art."

Exploring Character Art

One of the highlights of the event was the character art workshop, guided by certified instructors and experienced nailists, Yoshizumi and Taniyo. The instructors emphasized the importance of maintaining balance and steadiness while drawing, which helped participants create beautiful designs without too much difficulty. Though challenging, the fun atmosphere led to lots of laughter as kids and parents concentrated on their creations.

After a short break, participants were encouraged to try out another type of nail art, enhancing their experience and skills.

Participant Reactions

Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Many expressed the challenges they faced, such as, “It was difficult,” and “I struggled to draw fine lines.” However, this did not overshadow their happiness: “I’m glad I got the chance to experience it! When I managed to draw well, I was thrilled! The instructor was so patient and made everything easy to follow, which added to the enjoyment. Plus, it was wonderful to share this experience with my daughter.” Participants even voiced interests in trying different styles, including designs that could be worn discreetly at school.

The event not only provided valuable skills but also created cherished family moments. Parents and children alike left inspired and excited to continue exploring nail art.
