Games of the Future Abu Dhabi Launches Streaming Platform
In a landmark event for digital sports, Phygital International has officially launched the GOTF OTT streaming platform, aligning perfectly with the inaugural Games of the Future 2025 Abu Dhabi, powered by ADNOC. This innovative platform serves as a central hub for fans worldwide to experience the Games in a way never before possible.
Accessible at
tv.gofuture.games, the platform offers live broadcasts, complete event replays, highlights, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content across all disciplines at GOTF 2025. Designed to foster global accessibility and year-round engagement, it allows fans to watch every match live, revisit full replays at any time, and enjoy short, optimized content for social media and mobile viewing.
The platform's launch coincides with the commencement of this year's competition and features the initial rounds of the PC MOBA game, Dota 2, starting on December 14 from Pixoul Gaming in Abu Dhabi. Dota 2 will showcase an impressive lineup of iconic players, legendary figures, and emerging stars from the region, promising to deliver one of the most competitive teams in the event's history. Notably, Xu "BurNIng" Zhilei will represent the Paper Tigers team, widely regarded as one of the best Dota 2 players ever.
Fans can anticipate thrilling play styles, unexpected surprises, and budding rivalries as the competition unfolds, setting the stage for an outstanding exhibit at GOTF 2025. Following the initial group stage, the tournament will transition to a double-elimination playoff phase, culminating in high-stakes matches on December 18 and 19 at ADNEC. Here, teams will fiercely compete for a place in the finals and a shot at international glory.
Nis Hatt, CEO of Phygital International, stated, “The GOTF OTT platform marks a significant milestone in our mission to bring phygital sports to a global audience. This premier digital destination embodies the energy, innovation, and inclusivity that are at the heart of the Games of the Future. With the kickoff of Dota 2 tomorrow, we're excited to give millions of fans a new way to experience every moment of this year’s Games live.”
Moreover, the GOFT 2025 is supported by an expanding network of global broadcast partners, ensuring viewers everywhere can catch all the action. In the United States, ESR TV, a leading esports and gaming network, will carry coverage through platforms like Apple TV, Sling, and Amazon Prime Video Channels. Spanish and English broadcasts will be available in Latin America through FOX Sports Mexico and Zapping.
For mobile audiences, Bigo Live will act as an interactive streaming hub, facilitating live competition windows, co-streams led by creators, and fan-generated reactions. With substantial traction among Gen Z and global creators, Bigo Live brings the Games directly into the participation culture. Additionally, Likee will enhance the excitement with short video content that transforms highlights into shareable narratives.
These new partnerships complement existing arrangements with entities like Sportworld and BIGG TV in EMEA, Huya and SOOP in Asia, as well as StarTimes and TV BRICS in Africa. Hatt emphasized, “With these major additions to our broadcast network, we're proud to ensure that the Games of the Future Abu Dhabi 2025, powered by ADNOC, are accessible to audiences worldwide.
