BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel Welcomes Nanette Wilcox as President

BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel has recently appointed Nanette Wilcox, MSN, RN as its new president, a role she officially begins on April 27, 2025. With over 25 years of experience in the healthcare sector, Wilcox is a familiar face within the BayCare Health System, which serves Central Florida. Her journey began as a pediatric nurse and quickly advanced through various leadership positions within the organization.

Wilcox's prior roles included her time as the manager of ambulatory services, followed by her advancement to the director of patient services at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital. Additionally, she served as the director of operations for both St. Joseph's Women's and Children's hospitals. Most recently, she was the regional administrative director of cardiovascular services, where she honed her administrative and operational expertise.

Kimberly Guy, the Chief Operating Officer of BayCare, expressed confidence in Wilcox’s abilities, stating, "I have worked with Nanette as she's taken on several different roles at BayCare and each time she takes on the most difficult tasks with energy and passion. I am confident that she will bring the same enthusiasm and professionalism to her new role as the president."

Wilcox holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in nursing with a focus on health system leadership, equipping her to lead BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel during a crucial period of growth.
