Japan Sleep Association Announces Seminar on Human Capital Management and Sleep

Japan Sleep Association's Upcoming Seminar on Human Capital Management and Sleep

The Japan Sleep Association (JSLEEP) has announced an exciting initiative to host a public seminar titled "Human Capital Management and Sleep" starting this fall on September 3. This event will be open to both members and non-members, making it a unique opportunity for those interested in exploring the intersection of human capital and sleep.

Human Capital Management involves viewing employees as valuable assets and maximizing their potential to boost long-term corporate value. As businesses shift towards being competitive in today's market, strategies aimed at enhancing employee health and performance have become essential. It is increasingly necessary for companies to invest in their human resources as new regulations, such as requirements for public companies to disclose information about their human capital, emerge.

Recent research has highlighted that sleep significantly impacts employees' mental health and work performance. Poor sleep quality not only affects an individual's productivity but also extends to workplace relationships and communication dynamics. As Japan grapples with a declining workforce due to an aging population, addressing challenges related to talent acquisition and employee productivity has never been more crucial. This is where the importance of sleep comes into play.

The upcoming seminar will cover vital information surrounding the improvement of employee sleep as a cornerstone of successful human capital management. Attendees will gain access to cutting-edge insights from academia as well as case studies from leading companies. This is particularly relevant for HR and management professionals involved in human capital management.

The seminar will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person and online participation. Interested individuals are encouraged to register via the link provided in the event details below. Please note that seating is limited, and we may not be able to accommodate all requests for in-person attendance.
